OEH Data Download

Welcome to the NSW Government - Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) spatial data catalogue and download site.

   To search for and locate data available through OEH either

   a. type in a keyword or keywords (e.g. bellata vegetation or estate or soil landscape) and click the search button
   OR
   b.zoom to an area of interest within NSW on the map below and click search.

A more targeted search may be applied by combining a keyword search together with an area of interest search. Results of your search will be presented on the right of the screen.

Most datasets are available for download direct from this site. Those that are not, can be requested from OEH. This application will guide you through this. You will be required to provide personal details and purpose for use of the data to enable the download.

Datasets are supplied in GDA94 Geographic Coordinate System and in Zip file format. Some of the datasets are very large in size (up to 120MB) and so may require a high-speed broadband internet connection to download.
